Master Yourself
Front loading is one of the best things you can do for yourself.
So, what is it?
It’s pretty simple.
You look at your day or week and see what you can get done in the morning or early in the week.
My perfect day? My workout and my content work is all done by 9am.
A perfect week? Most of my core things (papers for school, articles for the following week, etc.) are done by Wednesday or Thursday.
This lets me capitalize on opportunities that come up during the day (or week).
It lets me read more, have more family time, watch a good TV show if I want and have the ever important ‘me’ time.
It also reduces stress. There’s nothing hanging over you. Procrastinators know, you never really chill while you push things off.
So, please, understand that front loading will change your entire life. You’ll never go back.
Master Your Money
Crypto is crashing!
You might’ve heard.
Our crypto is on Gemini (lent to Genesis)…which might crash next. Yikes.
We could lose the whole crypto account. Which would suck.
But I’ve spent years building us into positions where no single account loss would cripple us. We wouldn’t even feel it in our day to day…except in my feels of course.
But there’s a big lesson here for you…
Never, ever overleverage into any one single position- this includes cash, which loses its value year over year (or even month over month).
This also includes social media platforms. And income streams. Don’t put all your energy into Twitter and your 9-5. Spread it out. For reference, I’m on 6 social platforms and have 5 income streams (it takes time, but it’s worth it).
Take care of yourself. Take care of your family. Focus on building cash flow. Look optimistically long term.
Weekly Special
How to Be Cooler Than Cool
You want to be “cool”. Of course you do. You’re human.
You want to be calm, casual, cool and popular. This feeling never really goes away.
I had the fortune of growing up with a cool guy. My dad was cool his entire life. Just effortlessly cooler than everybody else.
Some of my view may be biased because I thought he was so cool, as most kids think of their dad as such.
But as I got older, I realized pretty much everyone else thought he was so cool too. So maybe my judgment is pretty good.
Anyway, coolness didn’t come as naturally to me. But that whole “just don’t care” attitude, that got passed down.
Now, I still do some pretty “uncool” things.
I walk up and down my street reading books. People probably think I’m a dork.
I used to binge watch Pretty Little Liars every summer. People probably think that’s corny.
I try to talk to dogs in cars next to me in traffic. People probably think I’m weird.
But, I’m not going to stop doing what I want.
Because it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks.
You understand this better as you get older. Very little matters except the people who matter.
If you’re not loving me or paying me, I just don’t care about your negative opinions.
You know what’s not cool? Making fun of people for doing shit they enjoy doing. Stop trying to hurt other people just because you’re too afraid to do what you want for fear of looking “uncool”.
The most uncool thing you could possibly do is worry about “looking cool”.
So, how to be cool?
Stop giving a shit what other people think.
Stop worrying about being cool.
Do what you want, follow your own interests, don’t be embarrassed for liking something or someone.
Life is entirely too short to care about people who don’t care about you. To soak in the opinions of people who mean nothing. Do you, boo.
Thanks for reading! If you found this valuable, please share with someone who could use it. As always, you can email me (caitmackcs@gmail.com) with any questions/comments. I do my best to answer within 24 hours.
See you next Saturday!
